| "CaST
Away"
is the name of our Tayana 37 sailboat.
"CaST" stands for Charlie and Sharon Tedrow, and the "Away" part says it all. May 1, 2009: We are back home now in North Bend, Oregon after completing our journey down the coast of Oregon, California, Baja California and as far south as Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. On the way north we explored the Sea of Cortez before putting CaST Away to rest for the season in Guaymas on mainland Mexico about 250 miles south of the border near San Carlos. We plan to return in the fall and continue exploring the Sea of Cortez. |

Our 4-legged sailing partners, Puggles and Pudge, are great little boat dogs and
previously completed a trip throughout the Puget Sound, San Juan Islands, and down
the Pacific Ocean to Oregon where we live in North Bend.
As
of April 15, 2009 they have travelled another 2500+ miles down the Pacific
Coast of Oregon, California and Mexico and the Sea of Cortez.
Pictured above, "CaST Away" is anchored at Las Tres Marietas (the
Three Small Marias), Mexico (20.41'N, 105.36'W)
Below, the pugs
peer into the galley and perform their guard dog duties.
